Tracy Arnold-Berrios (SES)

Ms. Arnold-Berrios is the Technical Director for Strategic Systems Programs (SSP). She also serves as a member of the SSP Board of Directors.

Ms. Arnold-Berrios has been a member of the Senior Executive Service since February 2019 and has over 41 years of federal experience. Prior to her current appointment, she served as the Assistant for Missile Production, Assembly and Operations at SSP. She was responsible for the strategic vision and plans for Strategic Weapon Facilities, Atlantic and Pacific, and for Program Management locations across the enterprise. She served as the executive advisor for all matters concerning the missile life cycle and provided oversite of the $1.4B annual budget for the United States and United Kingdom’s Fleet Ballistic Missile programs.

Ms. Arnold-Berrios has extensive experience in design, development, production and life-cycle management. She joined Strategic Systems Programs in June 2000 as the manager for the Launcher UK Program and SSGN Attack Weapons System Program. She managed concurrent design and production activities including the Demonstration Validation of the first successful launch of Tomahawk missiles from an Ohio class submarine. Ms. Arnold-Berrios rose through the organization and became the Deputy Branch Head. In 2014, she transitioned to the Missile subsystem as Head of the Logistics Systems Engineering Unit. She was responsible for integrated logistics support for the Trident II Missile and Reentry subsystems including the Navy Service Logistics Agent functions for Nuclear Weapon stockpile management. She began her career at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head as a manufacturing engineer and advanced through the organization holding several leadership positions.

Ms. Arnold-Berrios earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University, a Masters in Engineering Administration Degree from The George Washington University and is a graduate of the Defense Systems Management College Program Manager’s Course. Her awards include the Department of Navy Meritorious Civilian Service Award, the Navy Superior Civilian Service Award, and the Joe L. Browning Award for Managerial Excellence. She is a member of the Acquisition Professional Community and is Level III certified in the Program Management and Systems Planning, Research, Development and Engineering (SPRDE) career fields.
